This is the first song from my upcoming album, which will be available around the summer. It's written from a first person perspective, and that person is London (the city, that is).

Because you have nowhere to go,
Clasping jaws and clogged up pores,
I will hold you to ransom,
and then like Samson.....
..... you will be divested of your power,
robbed of your agency,
barked down and undermined,
as you court the bind,
I am the centre of the Universe,
I am the widest conurbation

Greedily, I grab, gulp and grapple,
Hopes and dreams go down the pan

We are mutual parasites now,
your blood runs polluted.

You will be left behind,
If you don't meld your mind
To the straits of our time
(repeated towards the end)
